If a page has comments/discussion enabled, and visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar avatar image service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

You may opt-in or opt-out of this through the presented modal display when clicking the favorite icon/button.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles/pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, games etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count the number of visitors to this website, which pages and which links get clicked. This enables us to better understand site usage and to tailor future editions of the site and its content to better suit user preferences. As is normal operating procedure for any website, our server logs the IP address of every file request (also known as a “web hit”). This information allows us to determine when site content is missing, broken, popular, or being linked to from other websites. This log data and the IP address therein are not linked with any personal data and are not shared with other parties by us, unless collected by the third party (as described elsewhere in this privacy policy).

Who we share your data with

As outlined in the sections above, “cookies”, website analytics, and ad-tracking metrics do get shared with the services mentioned above.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
