Ongoing Site Improvements
First of all, thank you for being here and taking the time to read this. It’s been a week of change here as we launched a new site system (that’s the techy stuff that runs the site in the background) complimented with a new design, and we continue to fine tune the whole look and feel of it all. You may have noticed some colors change here and there, and older original pages now have new menus designed to funnel visitors over to this side where it’s a much better and feature-rich experience!
We’ve also been addressing site content issues, as there were a number of games that were broken or missing completely. I think we’ve addressed about 75% of those so far and still have a handful to get working again. On the flip side, there were about two-dozen games that were just not functional so their pages won’t be receiving a new treatment and eventually they will disappear altogether if there are no other sites still linking to them.
Which brings us to the matter of old vs new game pages. As you’ve hopefully discovered (assuming you the reader are a loyal returning visitor, and I hope you are) we’ve been able to implement “fullscreen” functionality for about 80% of the existing games. NO MORE TINY WINDOWS! It truly is a different experience to be able to use your entire screen space, even if that means a bit of pixellation or blurriness with some games. Newer games tend to be made for bigger displays, so that won’t be as big of an issue moving forward.
As always, please drop us a line if you have an opinion on these changes, or noticed anything particularly bad. Maybe you’d like the ability to comment on news posts like these? How about the ability to keep track of your favourite games? Let us know!
